Thiago feels rejuvenated and stronger than ever, thanks to a focused preseason training. "I'm feeling very good, very strong, very different to how I felt last year," he said. "I've never felt better."
To get back in top form, Thiago put in extra work over the summer, while also prioritizing his mental well-being. "My goals are very specific and personal to me, but the main thing is that I want to be in the best possible form, the best possible shape to do what Brentford hired me to do – and that's score goals," he explained.
Thiago is also excited about the new direction under manager Keith Andrews. "It's a different mentality and a different way to work. It's good because we can learn different ways of thinking and different ways of playing," he said.
The team's new approach has focused on improving their technical skills and working with the ball, rather than just focusing on running and physical fitness. Thiago is eager to put these new skills to the test and make a positive impact on the pitch.
