"I've been very happy to be here for a while, especially now with the new manager, Carlo Ancelotti. We discuss the team's strategy and positioning on the pitch, and we have the freedom to play our best. Even though we may not know what formation we'll use in the next game, everyone is feeling positive. Our training has been going well, and Ancelotti knows how to get the best out of each player," Cunha said.
Cunha has had a strong performance for Brazil in the international break, and manager Ruben Amorim hopes he can bring that level of play to their match against Liverpool. Cunha discussed the high expectations placed on him and his lack of goals so far at the club.
"I try my best to adapt and learn. It's only been two months, but it feels like I've been here for a long time. Given the current situation and the fact that I need to deliver results quickly as a new signing, I think it's part of having a bigger role on the team. It's a weight that I'm happy to carry, as it means I have the opportunity to become a champion," Cunha said.
