Chesterfield-based RB Leipzig defender Castello Lukeba is reportedly being pursued by Chelsea, who are ahead of other Premier League teams in the race to sign the French centre back. Lukeba's contract with RB Leipzig includes a release clause of €90 million, but the club may be willing to sell him for a lower price of €60 million in January.

Regardless of the outcome in the winter transfer window, Lukeba is expected to leave RB Leipzig in the summer, when his release clause drops to €80 million.
