"He's the best player on the planet in his position," Sanchez said. "He's one of the best in the world, and I don't think anyone can match him in that role."

Sanchez and Caicedo have been teammates at both Brighton and Chelsea, and Sanchez notes that Caicedo's work ethic and composure on the ball have remained consistent throughout his career.

"He's just got better and better with experience, and his confidence has gone up," Sanchez said. "He's a boss at winning the midfield and making a difference in games."
