Real Sociedad are reportedly considering replacing Francisco with Thiago Motta, a former Barcelona and Atletico Madrid midfielder.

Motta is currently available after being let go by Juventus last season, and had been linked with Monaco before they chose another candidate.

Although contact has been made between Real Sociedad and Motta, no further action has been taken beyond expressing interest.
